Stinger Sports is a Canadian manufacturer and wholesaler of high-quality ringette gear for beginners, recreational players and elite athletes alike.
Stinger is owned and operated by SaskAbilities, a registered charity and non-profit organization dedicated to supporting those in our community experiencing disability.
SaskAbilities’ entry into the world of ringette started simply enough: Manufacturing an innovative stick shaft designed by the previous owners of Stinger. Since purchasing the company outright in the 1990s, SaskAbilities has grown Stinger Sports into a full-service ringette equipment manufacturer offering sticks, girdles, pants and accessories.
Stinger products can be found in more than 80 retailers across Canada and include:
- MossPro pants, a leading brand known for its superior design, durable and proprietary fabric, and are the official pant of Team Canada
- Padda girdles, one of the top lines in the sport offering superior comfort and flexibility while maintaining maximum protection
- Ringette sticks
Durability and performance have earned Stinger its excellent reputation in the ringette marketplace.
All of the quality we pour into our products comes from our dedicated staff members based in Regina, Saskatchewan, many of whom are part of the community SaskAbilities serves. The Stinger brand is living proof that people experiencing disability can engage in meaningful work and contribute to their community and economy.
